Baked chicken wings. A classic game day favorite, low carb friendly chicken wings. It’s a Saturday night in or maybe game day. You find yourself looking for an easy recipe to make some delicious chicken wings. But who wants to even bother with a hot oil fryer? Not this lady. I will tell you that making these baked wings was super easy and even better than having them at the dirty bar down the street. If you never tried making baked wings before I highly recommend them. Crack open a beer, grab the butter and don’t forget the crudite.
6 raw chicken wings (1-2lbs)
1 tablespoon seasoning
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons franks red hot (divided 3 in one bowl, 1 in a separate bowl)
1/2 cup butter (divided & separated) 2 tablespoons mustard/spicy mustard (for 1/2)
A few dashes of Worscestershire Sauce
Separate wings with a butcher knife, mix seasoning and baking soda together and coat the raw wings. Place on bake tray at 425 degrees for 45 mins. Be sure to flip the chicken wings over around 20 minutes. Once baked, separate out the 12 wings into 2 bowls (1/2 in each). In a microwave safe bowl, melt 3 tablespoons franks red hot and 1/4 cup butter with a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Pour over 6 of the wings and coat evenly. In another bowl, melt 1 tablespoon franks red hot, 2 tablespoons spicy mustard and remaining 1/4 cup butter together. Pour over remaining 6 wings and coat evenly. Serve all 12 wings with blue cheese dressing, celery & carrots. ENJOY!
