Lulu (a childhood nickname) + Jubliee (a celebration)

Hi there!  I’m lulu, also known to the world at large as one of many Laura Polks. Welcome to lulusjubilee.com, a site founded on the principle that life is best celebrated!  I’m a native of the Midwest now residing with my husband John, son Luca and daughter Farah (+ Shrek the idiot(dog)) in Arizona. I am also a delightful blend of mixed heritage, dominated by Lebanese through and through.  With my family I enjoy cooking, travel, hiking, art museums, our neighborhood library as well as chocolate covered donuts (with sprinkles) on Saturdays.

While there are many things that warrant a celebration in life this blog focuses on: lifestyle, food, travel and beauty.
